Ryan Couser is an enthusiastic freelance web designer from Belfast, Northern Ireland with extensive knowledge of designing and developing standards based multimedia for the web.

Furthermore he recently graduated from BSc Hons Interactive Multimedia Design with a high average of 68%, giving him a strong foundation on which to build.

The AOVC Classic Show is Ireland's largest old vehicle event, taking place at Ballymena Showgrounds, County Antrim on the last Saturday in June each year. This major event caters for all types of old vehicles including cars, commercials, motorcycles, scooters, tractors, stationary engines and steam engines.
They required a web standards based website that was content rich with news, photo galleries, entry forms, press section, and email marketing. All being easily controlled by our custom CMS.

Kinetic UK has over 6 years experience in providing both private and public sector clients with affordable, robust and scalable IT solutions.
This site isn't fully finished yet but I like it so much I've decided to give you an early preview. When finished it will have an ecommerce section that will allow users to build and customise their own High Definition Kinetic Media Hub.

Lismoyne Lodges provide relaxing accommodation in both Lough Erne and Portballintrae areas of Northern Ireland.
They required a website with plenty of interaction and animation that emphasised on the superb cultural scene photography. The most important aspect was the ability to receive online bookings.

The Oh Yeah music centre is a former bonded whiskey warehouse in the heart of the Cathedral Quarter, Belfast's cultural district. It measures 14 500 square feet over three floors and features a performance space, a drop-in area, office units, a privately-run recording studio and exhibition space.
They required a web standards based website that was content rich with news, events, photo galleries, video, press section, and email marketing. All being easily controlled by our custom CMS.

Construction Plant Ireland are specialise in the sale of high quality, new and used Construction Plant Machinery, Agricultural Tractors and Generators.
This work was received thanks to our friends at Kinetic UK. This client required a re-design of their website, keeping to the original design structure but moving to web standards compliancy. A custom CMS was also added to allow them free control of page content, products and email marketing.

Lavery's is one of Ireland's oldest and most famous family owned pubs on Belfast's world renowned Golden Mile.
This work was freelanced from No More Art. They required a re-design of their website, keeping with the colours of the bar itself and increasing the importance of upcoming events and sport.

Back Beat Records is a record shop in Belfast that buys and sells used and new CDs, vinyl, t-shirts, gig tickets. Most importantly they support local musically talent with space for live in-store promotions.

Start Recycling is a dynamic website similar to eBay where people from Northern Ireland can list their unwanted items with photos and description. Then other people can navigate through their district areas, to find items that might be useful to them and agree a collection point.
This was my major project for university and the idea was that everyone has unwanted items in their homes and work. Instead of throwing it into a skip, why not give away your junk free to someone else who can make good use of it.

Oppenheimer is a local Indie, Pop, Electroncia band that have just returned from tours throughout the US. Their song “this is not a test” recently featured in an episode of hit TV show Ugly Betty.

Daim-enterprise is a forward thinking and contemporary training organisation based in South Buckinghamshire, England that has only formed in the last year.
They required a simple, clean XHTML and CSS framework with latest news, member login and photo gallery skeleton. The PHP backend is to be added at a further date.

The Welcome Organisation offers a place of refuge and shelter for homeless and other socially excluded people, helping them to achieve their full potential.
This work was freelanced from No More Art. It involved recreating the branding from a poor quality image stored within a Microsoft Word document and designing a website that reflected the strategy and marketing of The Welcome Organisation.

Semolina Pasta is the result of university coursework. We had to meet a real life client, listen to their objectives and ideas before creating their branding and a website. In this case the client was Justin Nicholl who runs a fresh pasta stall at St. George’s Market, Belfast every Saturday. Stepping away from the Italy theme usually associated with pasta, I aimed to convey a strong feeling of rich and warmth, while using the latest web applications such as Moo Toolkit and customised Flash photo gallery.

The Bytes Project provides opportunities in an informal setting for young people aged between 16 and 25 to accelerate their own personal development through the creative and enjoyable use of information technology.

Web Hoker is Custom Search Engine and Directory for Northern Ireland's using Google custom search functionality.

CSL is the only privately owned company, dedicated to providing corporate accommodation solutions in Northern Ireland.
This work was created while working for No More Art. It entailed converting a flash template provided by the client into XHTML and CSS.

Cherry Blossom is a local flower shop that has recently opened in Maghera.
This work was created while working for No More Art. With the client being a start-up business they required a branding identity that depicted their service. Unfortunately I was competing with branding from another designer and missed out.

The Managing Director of No More Art has also been involved in a non profit-making organisation called Oh Yeah Belfast. The basic background of Oh Yeah is that there was nowhere in Belfast where music makers and people with creative energy could go, gather and discuss new ideas. That’s were Oh Yeah Belfast steps in, with a huge building in the centre of Belfast Cathedral Quarters being kitted out with a recording studio, rehearsal rooms, a performance area and loads of space for growing fresh ideas. Gary Lightbody from Snow Patrol, Tim Wheeler from Ash and Radio1’s Colin Murray are among the active support for the project.
The open day give the public a chance to meet the Oh Yeah team and to see the space as it evolves. I was asked to create a flash presentation with swish, funky animation to be displaying on screen at the show advertising No More Art.

The Indian Community Centre is a voluntary organization, which through training, community development and service provision delivers good relations, good practice, understanding and involvement of the Indian Community and the wider community throughout Northern Ireland.
This work was created while working for No More Art. The aim was to provide an attractive, usable web presence the met the aims and objectives of the ICC whilst being mindful of funders and relevant parties expectations.

Fitness Northern Ireland has been established since 1952, and, as a National Governing Body for exercise and fitness.
This work was created along with another student designer while working for No More Art, but under its child company EXMP. They required an XHTML and CSS site with stunning graphics and a function that could control the font size for the elderly and mature users.

Alternative Ulster (or AU as it has recently changed its name to) is a Music Magazine written, designed and published in Belfast, Northern Ireland.
This work was created while working for No More Art, but under its child company EXMP. AU already had a complete site which was designed by No More Art, but wanted the look and style changed with additional inclusion of RSS feeds from their blogger account and photos from their Flickr account.

EXMP or Experimental Master Plan is a student business initiative supported by nomoreart.co.uk. The idea is simple; to allow placement students to gain practical real world experience of business, design and all that they will encounter in their multimedia careers.
The idea was to create a website that could showcase me and another student designer’s work with RSS Feeds from our regular blogging.
